National Sales and Marketing Director/ Student
David Kircus is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TEAM Strategies, where he uses his experience as a former NFL wide receiver to shape his leadership approach. In addition to his executive role, he dedicates his summers to mentoring young athletes. He volunteers at recruiting camps, where he works closely with incoming athletes, helping them refine their skills and prepare for the competitive challenges they will face in their sports careers.
With a strong foundation in athletics and business, Kircus brings a unique perspective to his sales and marketing director position. He excels at analyzing data and performance metrics, enabling him to create and implement strategies that optimize operational efficiency. David’s athletics career began at Grand Valley State University, where he earned recognition as a standout football player. His impressive performances led to his selection in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. After his time with the Lions, he moved to the Denver Broncos, where he showcased his versatility on the field. He later joined the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League, contributing to the team’s championship win.
Growing up in Imlay City, Michigan, Kircus excelled in multiple sports, including basketball, football, and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and set school and county records in track. In high school, he contributed over 60 touchdowns on the football field, displaying his athleticism and versatility. After high school, he attended Grand Valley State University, where he helped lead the team to its first National Championship and set multiple NCAA records.
David began his professional football career with the Detroit Lions, where his strong work ethic and playmaking ability quickly gained recognition. He then moved to the Denver Broncos, where he performed high, particularly during the preseason with an 84-yard touchdown reception. In addition to his on-field success, he mentored younger players, helping them adjust to the challenges of professional football.
After retiring from football, David transitioned into the business world and became the COO of TEAM Strategies. In this role, he focuses on improving sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and optimizing the company's operations. His leadership has played a significant role in the company’s ongoing success.
